In the main menu bar choose Tools -> Accounts and click the "Mail" tab. In the same window ("Internat Accounts") click "Add" -> "Mail..."

Enter your name in the next window then click "Next".

Enter your e-mail address in the next window then click "Next".

In the next window choos "IMAP" for "My incoming mail server" (see also: POP3 or IMAP?)

In the "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:" field enter

imap.3dresearch.com

and in the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" field enter

vmail.3dresearch.com

then click "Next" and in the next window click "Finish" but you are not finished yet.

Make sure that the account you have just created is highlighted and click the "Properties" buttion.

Click the "Servers" tab. This window displays your incoming and outgoing mail servers as you have just entered. In the section "Outgoing Mail Server" check the box "My server requires authentication" and click the "Settings" button next to it.

The "Outgoing Mail Server" window opens where choose the option "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" and click "OK". Click "OK" to close the Properties window then close the "Internat Accounts" window.
